Rev. Prof. Peter Gichure is a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Nakuru. He is an Associate Professor of Dogmatic Theology and Peace Studies at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He holds doctorates in Theology and Religious Studies from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and Master's in Peace Studies from University of Notre Dame, USA. Prof. Gichure is the Theological Advisor of the Catholic Justice and Peace Commission, Kenya. His area of research is on alleviation of poverty and sustainable development. Conflict Transformation Coaching

 

Rev. Dr. Peter Mbaro is the Director, Centre for Social Justice and Ethics.

He is a Diocesan priest of the Catholic Diocese of Nyahururu (Kenya). He was Ordained in 1995. Rev. Dr. Peter Mbaro holds Baccalaureate Degrees in Philosophy and in Sacred Theology from Urbaniana University in Rome, a Licentiate in Moral Theology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Doctorate in Social Doctrine of the Church from the Lateran Pontifical University in Rome (Italy). He is currently a Senior Lecturer at CUEA in the Centre for Social Justice and Ethics (CSJE) and serves as the Director of the CSJE. Since Sept. 2008, he has been teaching in the area of the Social Doctrine of the Church, with focus on Christian Ethics; Justice and Peace; Church Management and Leadership, hence, he has a rich experience.

He has authored several works in the area of family, ethics, peace and justice. (cuea.edu).
